The Nike Air Max 90 'Bacon' recently made its triumphant return with a highly anticipated retro release from Nike. This iconic sneaker holds a special place in the hearts of Air Max enthusiasts and sneakerheads, thanks to its rich narrative. Originally designed by the renowned Dave's Quality Meats in New York City, the bacon silhouette draws inspiration from the store's thematic focus on meat. Its unique story has propelled the shoe to beloved status, with fans clamoring for its revival.

For this extraordinary relaunch, we decided to break free from the conventional. Introducing a private label atmos apparel collection with a delectable bacon theme, we took our creative vision a step further. Under the AMPLIFY by atmos initiative, we forged a meaningful partnership with Georgetown Butcher, a distinguished black-owned establishment in the Georgetown area. This collaboration not only enhanced our storytelling initiatives but also added a distinctive touch to the overall experience.

As the lead strategist behind this dynamic launch, my role encompassed the full spectrum of ideation and execution. From conceptualizing the initial idea to activating against the launch, I spearheaded the development of the social and content strategy. Additionally, I took charge of managing and creating a community partnership, formulated and pitched the launch strategy to our brand partner, and efficiently led a team of designers in bringing the unique apparel collection to life.
